Goldens by far. OES are just a little too hyper. The are late to mature too.And if you are going to have lots of kids you wont have the time it takes to maintain the coat of an OES
Any large dog is a good pet for a family, if it’s placid and calm natured. Both those dogs are so both make good pets. As do Labradors and St Bernards etc.
I have a Labrador, which is one of the best dogs to have around kids. She is always so sweet and gentle. I would recommend a Labrador or a Retriever, but I have heard that Sheep Dogs are supposed to be good around kids as well.
Well, I think both can be great family dogs but I think when you get one, it will probably die before you can even have 6 kids. I also doubt you’ll have ANY time for the dog when you have a child/children. Unless you’ll have children AFTER the dog has passed away, then it’s fine. But that may take 7, 10 or, 15 years.
