depends on your frame but its likely

  • it could but odds are unlikely…

  • Yes quite possible, but trust me, if your ankle was broken you would know all about i,t you would not be able to walk or put any pressure on it at all.

Ya they could…or atleast Fracture it.
I would go to the doctor and get a brace of some sort.

I am a professor at CGNU, it only takes seven pounds of unexpected pressure to break the ankle joint, which a 70+lb. dog can easily do for one reason or another. However if you are mistaken about the break area, the shin or your foot, you should probably rephrase your question. A doctor will give you the advice you would be looking for, not an online forum.

It is possible, but more likely you’ve got twisted and bruised muscles and ligaments/tendons. If it doesn’t improve by tomorrow then make an appointment with the Doctor. There can be greenstick fractures and damage to the tendon attachments.
60lb dog packs quite a punch. I remember once when my 75lb Borzoi sent me flying in the mud when she misjudged the surface. This sort of stuff just happens.

    Maybe you broke it.
I have broken bones for several times now, I think I know what it looks and feels like xD
If you felt excruciating pain when he hit you, if it felt so bad you couldn’t even scream because you were in shock, than you broke it! Depends on how you’re tolerating pain!
If it got all blue by now, and it hurts when you move it, I suggest you do an x-ray
    Good luck :)

Technically any dog can break your ankle if you fall over it or if it is big enough by crashing into you.

  • Yes. It happened to me once but it did not go out of place. It just made a “crack” sound. It’s like the sound when you press your knuckles. It felt much better after that actually. These things can happen especially when the dog runs at full speed & is big size & heavy & slams straight on the front part of your legs. It’s very painful. If your leg is still out of place & is hurting, then you should go to the doctor unless you don’t mind the excruciating pain…
