big dog, tiny appartment. it wouldn’t be very fair. that breed needs alot of room. all pups are high energy at some point.

They are high energy dogs so, if you decide to get on for your apartment then you will need to get him lots of exercise! Here is a website with information on the breed.
    Good Luck!

English Sheepdogs are known for their ability to adapt in urban environments. However, they have a very strong instinct to herd.
So long as you can give the dog the attention and exercise it needs living in an apartment, I don’t see any problem with it.

Hmmm…I’m not sure about that. Here’s a link on the personality/breed highlight of the english sheepdog. hope this helps!

Here’s a breed selector quiz which you may want to try to find out what breed matches your personality, lifestyle and your other requirements.

  • Old English Sheepdogs are actually highly energetic breed. They do appear lazy. but aren’t as lazy there appear and they really do need room to run and loads of exercise. It a very poor choice for an apartment dog.
Old English Sheepdogs love to play and run and require at least a medium sized yard for exercise. An apartment for a English Sheepdog would be like a Jail cell 24hours a day. Defiantly not compatable with your current lifestyle. They will shred the apartment to bits out of shear bordem.

Dogs that can adapt to Apartment dogs-yes there a few large breed that can make wonderful apartment dogs. Apartment dogs do no have to be small dogs. However you must remember alot of aparment are run by body corperate or landlord, which many do not allow pets at all, those that do, have strict conditions such as dog must be housetrained, 12months+ under 25pounds etc
