Why did Jebus consider Canaanites as dogs? Was he only sent for the lost sheep of Israel? Jebus thought so?

Who was Jebus?
Cause Jesus had to evolve past his own preconceived notions.
If only more people could learn from that.
WARNING: CHRISTIANS.
Don’t feed the troll.
Have the respect to call Him Jesus, first.
Good question. Maybe it was a test of faith for the Canaanite lady? She passed.
Jesus called the woman a “dog” knowing the faith that she would respond with. He wanted to teach His disciples a lesson; one that they wouldn’t fully understand until the Samaritan and Gentile Pentecosts.
What is “Israel?” Is it a political state? A geographical region? A certain set of DNA? Read the Old Testament stories of Rahab and Ruth and you’ll see that “Israel” was much more.
And you’re confusing “Jesus” with “Jebus.” Jesus is a man, Jebus is a town (Jerusalem).
The Canaanites would place babies on the tilted back stone arms of their chiseled gods so that the babies would slide or roll into the raging furnaces located in the open chest cavities of the god. While the baby was burning the temple priest and priestess would have sexual intercourse while the congregation joined in mass sexual orgies. Israel kept leaving God due to the sexual excitement of the Canaanite religion. Israel would offer their own babies. The Canaanites were definitely dog-like. In those days dogs were not pets but were instead scavengers that did the job of vultures.
You are being mean spirited. Jesus used a common household example well known in which dogs get fed scraps of food by its owners from their own food, their own table.
In this, he did demonstrate that he had come to serve the Jews and not other peoples. They had the right to his services since he was trying to save as many as possible from being disapproved. He was attempting to save as many Jews as possible for kingdom positions.
He was not there to heal the Germans, the French, or the Chinese for that matter. That also counted for the nearby nations. Still, Jesus rewarded the lady because of her faith. She got more than many Jews who lacked faith did — it was not a crumb that Jesus gave her in healing her daughter.
Jesus did not treat her as a dog, did he now?
Thus the example was well understood by the woman who took no offense.
Who is Jebus ?
Well done Tonya! you know God’s word : )
I always smile when i hear Jebus, makes me think of Homer lol
Sorry, it would take too long to explain and i’m too tired – if i thought you really wanted an answer i’d give you my time — anyway isn’t the result of the womans faith **awesome** – ”And her daughter was healed from that very hour” – and Jesus didn’t even touch her – what an awesome God we serve….
All things are possible with God…
he just wanted her to get on her knees and ahh…you know, praise him and so “oh jebus, oh jebus” lol to show her faith. She was feeling his salvation PRAISE ME JEBUS!!
GOD is just GOD. But Mathew write as u read. Because he consider himself as a lost sheep. you can see much more thing like this do not surprise; all that is what the writer say. The right thing you have to know is GOD is always saving and serving you. You may ask like “why jesus give a mercy only for Israel?, why all other people do not considered as people of GOD”. This is not right sentence. It should be read ” GOD come to save and serve only ‘ISRAEL’ “. Now you can see the word “israel”. the word ‘israel’ means ” People of GOD ” as He say. But as the time goes long the right meaning has got the wrong interpretation. But I suggest you to read the word “ISRAEL” as “PEOPLE OF GOD” not as ” People living in a country Israel”. The other thing is David is not the actual father of Jesus. David and Jesus, as a human, have one spiritual father and David come before Jesus; that is why Jesus is son of David. But if u read carefully from Mathew 1: 1 you will know David is not the Flesh father of Jesus. Thank you.
